Verizon Forms Partnership with Fantasy World Champion

The new PlayerX platform from WCF will incorporate Verizon's tools, services, and techstack as a result of the cooperation.

Mike Caralis, Verizon's VP of business markets, stated, "As the way we watch, interact, and participate in esports evolves, PlayerX is leveraging 5G to deliver the pinnacle of immersive esports-meets-fantasy sports experiences for fans." His statement was echoed by Caralis.

With Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband, esports enthusiasts may join PlayerX fantasy leagues, watch unique live streams, and view real-time statistics.

Members of the team can give it a personality and style with the use of interactive avatars, background music, and chat features.

According to Verizon, "PlayerX" will serve as a one-stop-shop for all ages, non-gambling-focused content, including fantasy sports, so users won't have to "search across multiple platforms" to find the latest news and highlights from their favourite streamers and athletes.
